Oh, Orris....you gave me so much..... I am not family, but he touched my heart just the same Scurry in the dark of the night.... Get the flashlights out Where are the solids.... Why are they floating? Get this and run that Dont you know what an OUR is Silly girl....come here, I'll show you Do this and this...now you are set! Endless time on the phone...struggling to hear your voice from your home in the later years...you always took the time for me, you never turned me down. You knew I was hungary, you knew I could handle the information...you would guide me but not feed me, you were exactly what my mind required to learn. Even in the midst of all the technical talk, we managed to squeeze some personal stuff in and learned to respect each other for our private lives as well. I always told him that if he were a quarter century younger, we would have been a hell of a couple....he always knew I was kidding, but I loved to hear him laugh and see that smile on his face..... I have a binder I found at Cargill shoved up on a shelf...it said Orrie Alberson...I about flipped when I found it as it was like striking gold....no one around knew the information in that binder...they would be ashamed if they knew what they were missing..the information that was sitting there collecting dust that could save the plant millions of dollars and save them from a lot of heartache. I am proud to say that I have been Orris vocal piece, his conduit to doing the one thing he wanted...to operate our facility right!!! I have taken his words, his thoughts, his recommendations and helped to make them real for us....I know that he knew I was striving to impliment his recommendations and he was very happy for this :) His legacy will live on for years!! (I carry this binder with me whereever I go by the way...) People think it is me that is smart...hint hint...I am just brave enough to carry out his wishes in a consistent and strong message....just like the man that delivered them to me.. God Bless you old man....your friend, Tammy
