Orrie,
I visited the North End Treatment Plant last week and had the pleasure of presenting a summary of its performance over the last 5 years to your old client. Your totally innovative scheme to flush the biofilter at night and do without a clarifier has worked brilliantly. I mentioned to your client that I had never seen a treatment plant in Western Washington with a lower effluent suspended solids concentration. Pure Orrie. Sorry this note is late!

Orrie was my main guide and mentor during our study at 91st Ave Wastewater Treatment Plant in Phoenix, Arizona. He was a brilliant scientist and technologist. May his soul rest in peace with God.
