From the day I started working at the Stamford wastewater treatment plant (1982), all I heard about was the larger than life figure known as Orrie Albertson. He was the Dorr-Oliver engineer who amazed everyone with his knowledge, dedication, work ethic and professional ethics. It was five years before I would meet him in person and I did at a WEF conference; he and Bob Okey, that incredible team. We had lunch together-three hours and many beers and when lunch was over, I knew it was one of the best days of my life. Orrie had given me the love of this wonderful wastewater profession and incentive to be the best I could. He was such an inspiration. He was so smart and so creative. I will never forget that day and I will never forget Orrie. He was always there for me. He was always willing to teach and inspire me. There is a Heaven and he and Bob are there instituting all sorts of creative technology. Orrie has and will always have a very special place in my heart. Deepest sympathy Jeanette Brown
